Cancer Risks from Microwaves Confirmed

Microwaves from wireless mobile phone transmitters may be more potent than lower frequency electromagnetic fields in promoting cancer.

Evidence linking weak electromagnetic radiation (EMR) to leukaemia and other cancers has been fast accumulating in recent years [1-3] (Electromagnetic Fields Double Leukemia Risks, Mobile Phones & Cancer, SiS 18; Electromagnetic Fields, Leukaemia and DNA Damage, SiS 24). Such 'non- thermal' effects of EMR – due to levels well below that sufficient to bring about any heating - have been observed even before World War II [4] (Non-Thermal Effects, SiS 17).

During the cold war period, a four-fold excess of cancer cases was diagnosed among the staff of the American Embassy in Moscow that had been secretly irradiated with microwaves at well below the threshold set in current guidelines. The US State Department study on this episode was described in a paper published in 1997 [5]. This was among the earliest evidence for non-thermal effects of microwaves, and many studies are now confirming the high cancer risks of people exposed to microwaves from mobile phone base stations and transmitters around the world. Microwaves are no different from EMRs in the lower frequency range in that respect; except that microwaves may be even more potent in promoting cancer and other illnesses [6] (Drowning in a Sea of Microwaves, the Wi-Fi Revolution, SiS 34).

Ten year study in a German city found cancer risk trebled

In June 1993, a GSM transmitter antenna was set up in the Southern Germany city of Naila, and became operational since September 1993. The transmitter antenna has a power of 15dbW (31.6W) per channel in the 935 MHz range. In December 1997, an installation from another company was added.

Several doctors living in Naila decided to respond to the call by Wolfram König, President of the Federal Agency for Radiation Protection, to collaborate in assessing the risk posed by mobile phone radiation. They carried out a study to examine whether people living close to transmitter antennas had increased risk of cancer [7].

They found that the proportion of newly developed cancer cases was significantly higher among those who had lived during the past ten years at a distance of up to 400m from the cellular transmitter site, compared to those living further away, and the patients fell ill on average 8 years earlier. In the years 1999-2004, five years after the transmitter has been installed and operating, the relative risk of getting cancer had trebled for the residents within 400 m of the installation compared to inhabitants outside the area.

For the purpose of the study, an inner and an outer area were defined. The inner area covered the land within a distance of 400 m from the transmitter, the outer area comprise land further than 400 m. In the inner area, additional emissions come from the secondary lobes of the transmitter. Thus, the outer area has significantly reduced radiation intensity. Computer simulation and measurements both show that radiation in the inner area is 100 times higher compared to outer area. The measurements of all transmitter stations show that the intensity of radiation from the cell phone transmitter station in Naila in the inner area was higher than the electromagnetic fields from radio, television, or radar, according to measurements made in previous studies.

Data gathered from nearly 1 000 patients covered almost 90 percent of the local residents, and all patients had been living during the entire observation period of 10 years at the same address. The social differences are small, there is no ethnic diversity, no heavy industry and in the inner area there are neither high voltage cable nor electric trains. The average ages of the residents are similar in the inner and outer areas.

For the entire period from 1994 to 2004, the odds ratio (OR) for getting cancer in the inner, strongly exposed area compared to the outer area was 2.35. The average age of developing cancer was 64.1 years in the inner area, whereas in the outer area it was 72.6 years, a difference of 8.5 years. The average for Germany as a whole for developing cancer is 66.5 years, among men, 66 and women 67.

The new cancer cases showed a high annual constant value. Considering only the first 5 years, there was no significant increased risk of getting cancer in the inner area. However, for the period 1999 to 2004, the OR for getting cancer was 3.38 in the inner area compared to the outer area. Breast cancer topped the list, with an average age of 50.8 year compared with 69.9 years in the outer area, but cancers of the prostate, pancreas, bowel, skin melanoma, lung and blood cancer were all increased.

Four fold cancer risk in Israel

Researchers from Tel-Aviv University, Israel, compared 622 people living near a cell-phone transmitter station for 3-7 years who were patients of one health clinic in Netanya, with 1 222 controls who get their medical services in a clinic located nearby, with very closely matched environment, workplace and occupational characteristics [8]. The exposure to mobile phone radiation began one year before the start of the study.

The cell-phone transmitter came into service in July 1996, and people in the first health clinic live within a half circle of 350 m radius from the transmitter. The antenna has a total maximum transmission power of 1 500 W at 850 MHz, with a 50 Hz modulation. Both the measured and the predicted power density in the whole exposed area were far below 5.3 mW/m 2, and hence far below the current guidelines.

There were 8 cases of different kinds of cancer diagnosed in a period of just one year (July 1997 to June 1998): 3 cases of breast cancer, one of ovarian cancer, lung cancer, Hodgkin's disease (cancer of the lymphatic system), osteoid osteoma (bone tumour) and kidney cancer. This compares with 31 cases per 10 000 a year in the general population of Israel, and 2 per 1 222 in the matched controls of the nearby clinic.

The relative risk of cancer was 4.15 for those living near the cell-phone transmitter compared with the entire population of Israel. As seven out of eight cancer cases were women, the relative cancer rates for females were 10.5 for those living near the transmitter station and 0.6 for the controls relative for the whole town of Netanya.

One year after the close of the study, 8 new cases of cancer were diagnosed in the microwave exposed area and two in the control area.

Dangers Associated With Soft Drinks

Caution: Some soft drinks may seriously harm your health
Expert links additive to cell damage

A new health scare erupted over soft drinks last night amid evidence they may cause serious cell damage. Research from a British university suggests a common preservative found in drinks such as Fanta and Pepsi Max has the ability to switch off vital parts of DNA.

The problem - more usually associated with ageing and alcohol abuse - can eventually lead to cirrhosis of the liver and degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's.

The findings could have serious consequences for the hundreds of millions of people worldwide who consume fizzy drinks. They will also intensify the controversy about food additives, which have been linked to hyperactivity in children.

Concerns centre on the safety of E211, known as sodium benzoate, a preservative used for decades by the £74bn global carbonated drinks industry. Sodium benzoate derives from benzoic acid. It occurs naturally in berries, but is used in large quantities to prevent mould in soft drinks such as Sprite, Oasis and Dr Pepper. It is also added to pickles and sauces.

Sodium benzoate has already been the subject of concern about cancer because when mixed with the additive vitamin C in soft drinks, it causes benzene, a carcinogenic substance. A Food Standards Agency survey of benzene in drinks last year found high levels in four brands which were removed from sale.

Now, an expert in ageing at Sheffield University, who has been working on sodium benzoate since publishing a research paper in 1999, has decided to speak out about another danger. Professor Peter Piper, a professor of molecular biology and biotechnology, tested the impact of sodium benzoate on living yeast cells in his laboratory. What he found alarmed him: the benzoate was damaging an important area of DNA in the "power station" of cells known as the mitochondria.

He told The Independent on Sunday: "These chemicals have the ability to cause severe damage to DNA in the mitochondria to the point that they totally inactivate it: they knock it out altogether.

"The mitochondria consumes the oxygen to give you energy and if you damage it - as happens in a number if diseased states - then the cell starts to malfunction very seriously. And there is a whole array of diseases that are now being tied to damage to this DNA - Parkinson's and quite a lot of neuro-degenerative diseases, but above all the whole process of ageing."

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) backs the use of sodium benzoate in the UK and it has been approved by the European Union but last night, MPs called for it to investigate urgently.

Norman Baker, the Liberal Democrat chair of Parliament's all-party environment group said: "Many additives are relatively new and their long-term impact cannot be certain. This preservative clearly needs to be investigated further by the FSA."

A review of sodium benzoate by the World Health Organisation in 2000 concluded that it was safe, but it noted that the available science supporting its safety was "limited".

Professor Piper, whose work has been funded by a government research council, said tests conducted by the US Food and Drug Administration were out of date.

"The food industry will say these compounds have been tested and they are complete safe," he said. "By the criteria of modern safety testing, the safety tests were inadequate. Like all things, safety testing moves forward and you can conduct a much more rigorous safety test than you could 50 years ago."

He advised parents to think carefully about buying drinks with preservatives until the quantities in products were proved safe by new tests. "My concern is for children who are drinking large amounts," he said.

Coca-Cola and Britvic's Pepsi Max and Diet Pepsi all contain sodium benzoate. Their makers and the British Soft Drinks Association said they entrusted the safety of additives to the Government.

The Monad

Thus every I AM presence or Divine Spark contains a total of 144 individual personalities.

Among the twelve soul extensions, known as soul personalities there are six pairs, with each pair sharing an identical and unique frequency intonation.

These pairs also differentiated in a final and very painful separation in order to experience the greatest density in the lower physical dimensions.

One member of these pairs holds the masculine or yang attributes of the Creator and the other, the feminine or yin qualities.

Together they comprise a twin soul or twin flame unit. And so it is that you and your twin flame together are one of these pairs in your primary soul group of ten others.

And since each I AM presence or monad also includes 144 individuals in total, the other 132 in your soul group are known as your monadic group, or secondary soul mates.

Thus it is that there are many other aspects of yourself existing in physical bodies on many other planets of differing vibrations.

Still others may be discarnate at this time working with and guiding us from the higher realms. We are all deeply and lovingly connected and after our veils are lifted we will openly communicate telepathically with one another.

We are now at the beginning of the in-breath or the mid-point of this cosmic cycle. Its exact still point or period of no-time will arrive in December of 2012, heralded by the return of the Christ and the end of the Mayan calendar.

At that point in space/time many of us will make our ascension and begin the long journey of moving upward through the hierarchies, to return to the Great Creator.

Our joyful reunion with our twin soul begins this process. And as we reunite again with the 10 members of our primary soul group and then the 132 members of our monadic group, we will all be carried upward through the higher dimensions until all are at one with the great Source of everything."

Manifesting

Manifestation of desires has never been so powerful!

We must firstly understand that nothing is either good or bad, but thinking made it so. No condition is good or bad, it just is, so stop making value judgements. Realize that all conditions are temporary, nothing stays the same, nothing remains static. The ways things change or become reality depends on YOU. Realize that nothing happens by accident, every event & adventure is called to you by you in order that you may create and experience "WHO YOU REALLY ARE" For life can occur no other way for you than that way in which you think it will. Thinking things into being is the first step in the process of creation. So you can be, do and have whatever it is that you can imagine.

Emotion is the power which attracts, that which you have strong emotions for, whether it is fear or love based you will experience it. A lot of humans tend to attract what they fear. What you resist, persists! I always say that energy seeks its own balance. Fear attracts like energy as does love attract like energy, the difference is opposite polarity.

Emotion is energy in motion, by moving energy you create effects. By moving enough energy, you create matter, so matter is conglomerated energy. Soon you will understand if not already how and why radionics manipulates energy becoming matter. If you or I manipulate energy long enough in a precise certain way, you end up with matter. This is the alchemy of the Universe. Pure energy is creative thought, it never ever dies, thoughts are forever. I see these thoughts as wave packets, yes energy moving around and attract like energies. This is good, I'm feelin' creative now. So like energy attracts like energy forming a larger summation of itself. So all the thoughts are actually congealing together of like energy. When enough of this pure energy of thought accumulates and increases in density it forms matter. Once energy becomes matter it remains in this form unless its construction is dissipated or distrupted by opposing, resistance or dissimilar forms of energy. The dissimilar energy acts upon matter, dismantling it, releasing the raw energy of which it is composed. This is the destruction of the hologram. The hologram is the summation of all the wave packets conjoined or the combined likeness of energy. I have solution to cancel these opposition forces so that it is never created in the first place. Thus there is no oppositon, no resistance to what you or I create. Our thoughts are like magnets drawing like energy and this is how you and I manipulate energy and matter,rearrange it, redistribute it, utterly control it. This is the knowledge of good & evil.

To truly understand matter one must work towards the best intentions of all involved, so love is the ultimate goal of reality manifestation. It is the only, the all, the feeling of love is your experience of God. By understanding the absolue that love is the highest truth, is all there is and was and ever will be, you move into love. WE ARE all gods, and we create everything, anything, whatever your hearts desire. You could imagine then that the only sin, if there was such a thing as sin, would be to allow others to control your free will, to allow yourself to become what you are because of others experiences. So experience your own experiences, tell the others (dictators) to watch the hell out! cause you are creating and experiencing who you really are through your own free will.

Part Zero - The Physics of Magick

The Emerald Tablet of Hermes, a first century A.D. alchemical text, attempted to express ancient Egypt's scientific wisdom in a few pithy lines of metaphorical and metaphysical symbology, suited of course for the educated Egyptian, or Greek or Roman philosopher/magician of the day. Its insight is still breath-taking, if one has the key to the symbolism; if not, its obscurity is profound. Since few of use have the world-view of an Alexandrian mage, a simple how-to of magickal philosophy, in modern scientific terms, seems to e absolutely necessary. Science is the magician's willful apprentice, Magick's lost step--child/prodigy, who has learned one trick, and therefore must compulsively repeat that trick, without knowing how to stop itself. To understand Magick, we must reclaim science as the observational and experimental tools needed to apprehend the true vastness of the Universe.

And so, with a nod to the real geniuses (Winter?) who figures out what I am about to simplify, let's take a stab at a new Emerald Tablet:

1) THE UNIVERSE IS MADE OF ONE SUBSTANCE
We all know the basic formula for this one ­­ E=MC2.
Matter is just a lot of energy moving so slowly that we can touch it and sit on it. energy is just a little bit of matter moving so fast we have trouble finding it. They are polarities of the same substance, which is flowing or moving as different rates, constantly. This very compressibility is what stores form and memory in its wave shape.

 

2) THE UNIVERSAL SUBSTANCE HAS ONLY ONE WAVE SHAPE -- THE SINE WAVE
The Fourier principle of frequency signature transformation means that even the most complex shape is a simple sum of sine waves of different lengths.

 

3) THE UNIVERSE CAN BE DESCRIBED AS A GEOMETRY OF PRESSURE
Geometry can be thought of here as the basic creation of symmetry. Any symmetrical structure creates a place where meeting waves, those traveling in opposite directions, can stand, that is, to phase and phase-lock. Standing waves give the illusion of solidity, which is the segregation of momentum that makes possible the birth of matter. Pressure occurs where waves meet.

Only ration is sacred; scale is mundane. Information is the only universal in our hologramic universe, every part contains the information of the whole. Sharability, the way converging waves create sustainable forms, then becomes a property of inherent structure emerging naturally from the process itself.

In a world made only of waves, there would be just two geometric forms, the torus, or vortex, and the golden mean spiral. the donut, torus, form is the only structure in a world of waves that can become coherent, that is, retain a regular shape like a smoke ring. As more of these smoke rings are created and they want to relate to the first smoke ring, they must "nest" in the right pattern so that they can remember their form and still share structure. the best pathway for doing this is the ratio we call the golden mean.

Only a form of Golden Mean symmetry will allow converging waves to add and multiply at the same time. Only in this way, in this shape, can waves nest together without interfering with each other and canceling out their memories. A Golden Mean spiral can nest triangles, Squares and five-sides figures, crating a dodecahedron as it does,. the dodecahedron is the perfect Golden mean nest for turning information into coherent structure. That's why it is also the pattern of the braided DNA molecule. The Golden Mean happens, the icosahedronal donut and the dodecahedronal donut generate the only other two naturally occurring numbers: Pi and E.

From this simple shape, and these three irrational, but naturally occurring numbers, the universe is built. No wonder the ancient Egyptians called these qualities the cosmological Neters or forces.

 

4) FOCUS IS THE ONLY MEDIUM THAT CREATES IN A UNIVERSE OF WAVES
Focus, directed intensity of consciousness, occurs when the excited nests of smoke rings become fractally attractive along the patterns created by Phi, Pi, and E. When this happens they also become matter, and the attractive quality is then seen as gravity. Intention, like gravity, is a lens that bends light. Focus in the form of the great geometric archetypes generates a sense of symbolic "gravity."

 

5) SHAPE IS THE ONLY THING THE UNIVERSE HAS TO CONSERVE. ALL QUALITATIVE CHANGES COME FROM DIFFERENCES IN SHAPE, NOT SUBSTANCE
Everything in our world, all matter, that is, all fractally attractive patterns of informational density, is composed of atoms, which are described by physics as a nucleus surrounded by electrons in so-called orbital shells. These shells are the pattern, the shape or ratio, which is the only thing the universe must conserve, in order to know itself. These shells or shapes are formed by the nestings of energy donuts or smoke rings. the Atomic Table then becomes a simple set of wave patterns, describing valency as symmetry. Everything can be created from the nesting of one donut, with a pair of vortices; three donuts, with six single direction vortices; five donuts, with ten vortices; and seven donuts, with fourteen vortices. Count the vortices and you have the number of electrons in each orbital shell.

These patterns form regular shapes, called the Platonic solids because Plato was the first to write about them: the tetrahedron, on pair of vortices; the octahedron/cube, three pairs; the dodecahedron, five pairs; and the icosahedron, seven pairs. These basic shapes are important in transmitting the very waves structure of matter, best understood as templates that generate the focus of intensity necessary to become fractally attractive, that is, bend the straight energy flow of light into a circle of atomic structured matter.

 

6) THE ONLY WAY TO CONSERVE SHAPE ALONG A PATH IS TO MAINTAIN THE NEST OF RATIOS CONTAINING LENGTH, BREADTH AND VOLUME
The most elegant nest of ratio are those that intertwine Phi, Pi, and E, such as the DNA spiral. We can think of this as simple proof that DNA is a structure that is codes to transmit information along the pathway of temporal evolution of physical life forms on the planet. All life forms on the surface of the planet are the instruments and actors of an ancient epic opera hard-wired into the structure of our cells.

 

7) THE BEST PATHWAY TO MAINTAIN A NEST OF RATIOS IS THE GOLDEN MEAN
Wratcheting a cube five times at 32 degrees in the same visual space creates a dodecahedron. Wratcheting a dodecahedron 32 degrees gives the powers of Phi; Phi squared, cubed, etc. The Golden mean pathway enables information (shape) to be moved without loss of momentum (mind). The closer we can come to forming this shape and path, the grater our conductivity, that is, the more energy can flow through us. As we focus our intensity on these shapes and flow patterns, we create a sort of super conductive, super coherent energy exchange.

 

8) COHERENCE AT ANY LEVEL IS COHERENCE AT AL LEVELS.
An orderly arrangement between wave lengths establishes a connection between frequencies and fields. But for this connection to last, it must resonate to all frequencies and fields. This can only be accomplished through the resonate structure of golden mean pathways. This harmonic cascade of inter-connected-ness is the structure of our hologramic universe, perceptible as ecstasy.

 

9) DNA IS THE SEED CRYSTAL OF THE HIGHER DIMENSIONAL LIGHT BODY.
DNA, a perfect Phi structures crystal connecting long waves and short waves, is a three-dimensional patterns designed to transmit information, in the form of living being, through time and space, the fourth dimension. Its goal seems to be the creation of a fifth dimensional intelligence, one capable of phase-locking with the information of the universe stored in the crystaline coding of the DNA geometry.

 

10) LIGHT, WHEN FOLDED BACK ON ITSELF, COMES TO KNOW ITSELF.
A fifth dimensional awareness, which we can categorize as one that sees all space and time, energy and matter, as components of the original wave form, bends Light into the circle of self-awareness. This creates the rich blue/UV explosion of energy that accompanies the rise of Kundalini, the phase-lock of biological energies into the flow of the universal information energy stream. This enfolded-ness creates enlightenment, a state where the awareness of the universal mind meets itself at every wave junction.

The Higher Energies

Greetings!

The higher energies are relentless now, barely allowing us to take a breath in between all the manifestations, and moving us ahead at warp speed.



These new energies are placing us in higher realms reality, whether we are ready to go or not. Pulling us along, bringing to us incredible opportunities that we never might have imagined ourselves, and guiding us into the spaces of our divine and true purpose, we can barely keep up with it all.



Manifestations of these energies can be experienced as acute stress, overwhelm, total exhaustion, weakness, and brain overload. Having a normal phone conversation can drain us to the point of not being able to have one, and even lifting up our arms or moving our legs forward can feel like a major effort as our energy reserves are so depleted! We may sleep the sleep of the dead, and then wake up at 3:30 ready to go again, as we are so primed, excited, and ready for our new lives and realities to begin!



Craving sweets and sugar, along with water, are our natural inclinations to gain some energy somewhere. In addition, we may subconsciously blame others for much of anything and everything, get testy and grumpy, as we are again, making an attempt at taking some energy from somewhere else in order to boost our seemingly dead batteries. Drinking lots of water and eating lots of protein (the ancients recommend legumes) can be the best solutions, as well as simply lying upon the earth and gathering up her energies as a needed boost.

And the buddha belly returns with a vengence! We can eat like birds and excercise endlessly, but we need to hold the density of these new and higher vibrations, and thus, our weight maintains a higher level than normal for us. And always around that belly area!



These energies are relentless indeed, as they do not seem to cease. Everything seems to be happening at once, and even though most of our manifestations are awesome indeed, overload and stress can be the result. Feelings of over-stimulation are indicators of these times.



As with any move into a higher realms reality, the darkness can arrive as well. Whenever we approach a higher rank on our evolutionary ladder, we can, and usually do, experience what may feel like an unusual amount of darkness around us. But the higher we go, and the further we progress, the briefer this period becomes. And after we pass through the gate of darkness, as it is on the road to the higher realms, we are again able to experience peace, love, and all the goodies we deserve at the end of this particular rainbow of evolution.



Is it the darkness attacking us and trying to interfere with our light becoming brighter? I say no. What is actually occurring is that the darkness within us is leaving and making an exit that cannot be denied. The deepest parts of our souls that have been around for eons of time, which embodied any of the darker and denser energies, along with the darker energies that we agreed to transmute for the whole of the planet, are being purged.



This can manifest as acute anger, rage, feeling immense panic and stress, a great feeling of being lost without a rudder, unexplainable dark and almost evil emotions and thoughts, and the like. If you have experienced any of these, and are able to simply know that this is a process of evolution and it will pass, and that you are not evil or being attacked by darkness, things will feel much better for you. It is most certainly not the real you, as the real you is a being of light indeed.



Our crown chakras are also receiving huge downloads of energy as well, creating head and ear pressure, and back and neck stiffness and tension.



Another manifestation that can occur, arrives in the form of having some unpleasant experiences. These occur as a result of immediate manifestations of how we are running our own particular energy. They are simply pointing out to us how we feel about ourselves, that we may need to stand up for ourselves more, or perhaps not do so much for others, or perhaps do more for others, or the like. Whatever needs balancing and tweaking will arrive for us in bold, living color as part of our own individual drama. These messages are also arriving in the form of our dreams, as we may have what feels like a disturbing and important dream, and awake feeling tramatized or alarmed.



In addition, there is a huge amount of projecting going on now. It absolutely cannot be denied. We may think we are so very wonderful at times, and it is everyone else that has the problem energy, but if we look hard, we can clearly see that we do these same things at times ourselves, and are simply not aware of how we are being perceived by others. In addition, whatever seems blatantly horrific in another's behavior, is usually what we need to possess more of ourselves. We just need to find a justification for this behavior in a higher form, and know that it is OK to possess it ourselves.



Yes, the higher energies are bombarding us with intense and rapid movement and manifestations, and we are experiencing them in a variety of ways.



Last night my husband Phil and I went out to an ancient site in our community called Casa Malpais. We were granted access by the museum director, as all of us wanted to view a particular petroglyph in order to see where the sun landed at the cross quarter of May 5th, when the masculine and feminine energies merged (our wedding day as well!). Although none of us were able to view this occurrence on the exact day, due to cloudy weather and also that Phil and I were away being married, last night was the first clear evening when the sun set.



When we arrived, the museum director was just leaving, as she had arrived before we had. She was very rattled and unable to describe what she had seen…unusual for her. Phil and I decided to hike up ourselves, and on this evening, at sunset, we had a very unusual and totally amazing experience. The energy of the entire site had completely changed.



Before, the ancients usually hid themselves during Phil's regular tours, although they came out and spoke to him when he was there alone. Mostly the small, gentle, and loving women of the casa, and an ancient shaman who was there from the stars to teach the shaman in the kiva, as this site was created as a "shaman school."



When I spent time at this site, I usually connected with the ancient being from the stars who created the ancients themselves, and seeded this community….a truly awesome and incredible being as well. So with Phil's knowledge of the timelines, facts and figures from documentations, and artifacts he had collected, along with the information that the star beings and ancient site dwellers had revealed to us, and along with some inter-dimensional interpretations of mine, we had been able to piece together some amazing things.



But last night, all was different. And it was so different that what we had pieced together so far seemed acutely trivial, piece-meal, and barely touching the tip of the iceberg.



Last night, there was an immense opening to a much higher dimension. The entire site was covered by and embodied a HUGE energy of higher beings, and was at a very new level. It was so intense, that Phil had tears streaming down his face the entire time. As I shouted to him (the intensity was deafening) while I was translating as rapidly as I could what was being revealed at this new level, he was adding to it as well.



The energies were so high and intense, that we could only stay a short while, until dark. We were barely able to accommodate them, but we felt that we had arrived in another world, on another planet, and had a hard time leaving! We were told as well, that we would come up with a question….one question….and the answer would immediately be revealed to us. This answer would unlock the mysteries of all time, and provide a foundation, theme, and purpose for higher level living and being. It is the theme that runs through it all, and makes anything and everything finally make sense.



We knew we had picked up this key on our wedding day at a small and isolated town in New Mexico where the ancients had really first begun, but had simply been following the trail of crumbs.



And this is how it is for all of us now. We are being catapulted into the higher realms. Great and awesome doors and being opened to realities we have never experienced before in these particular human bodies. We have been re-incarnated and are being reborn into what a wonderful woman just described to me as a "very new dream."



The days of suffering and pain are over. The days of struggle are over. The days of darkness and negativity are over. We have truly arrived in a new reality of new ways of living and being, and we need only seize the day.

America's Arcane Origins

Political activists of the so-called "religious Right" in the United States never tire of preaching that their country was founded as "a Christian democracy." But they are wrong on both counts.

When Benjamin Franklin was leaving the first Continental Congress, he was asked by one of many anxious patriots waiting outside the courthouse, "What have you given us?" Franklin replied, "A republic, if you can keep it."

The difference might seem trivial or even non-existent to narrow-minded persons for whom democracy and dictatorship are the only conceivable forms of government. Yet, the very word, "democracy," does not occur once in the Bill of Rights, the US Constitution, or any state constitution. It was mentioned often by America's Founding Fathers, but invariably as a synonym for "mob rule," and, along with obsolescent monarchy, an evil to be avoided.

Thomas Paine, the American Revolution's most eloquent voice, summed up his colleagues' view of democracy when he described it in his world-famous "Rights of Man" as "a species of demagoguery, wherein clever charlatans, making promises as enticing as they are impossible to fulfil, win for themselves unwarranted power and wealth, persuading gullible people to discard their liberties for a secret tyranny masquerading as public freedom."

Particularly in the writings of Thomas Jefferson, the historic models held up for emulation did not include Greek democracy, but the Venetian and Roman republics. The difference between these examples most important to men like Paine and Jefferson was the concept of citizenship. Anyone born in a democratic state automatically becomes a citizen with all the privileges that entails, including the right to vote. In a republic, one is not born a citizen, but may only become one when he or she reaches adulthood; can demonstrate at least a fundamental grasp of the workings of their government, and is either going to school or gainfully employed.

In modern America, all that remains of these basic requirements is a restriction against voting until one's eighteenth year. Foreigners must, in fact, pass tests proving their basic comprehension of the Constitution before becoming US citizens, which makes them more knowledgeable, discerning voters than native-born Americans, who are supposed to receive the same kind of rigorous Constitutional education, but rarely, if ever, do. In demanding at least some qualifications for citizenship, America's Founding Fathers believed that responsible leaders could only by chosen by a competent electorate. Today, however, such notions are shunned as "elitist" in most countries described as "democratic."

Yet more shocking to bible-beating conservatives, if they were to learn the awful truth, is that the United States was not founded by Christians, at least of the kind they would approve. Instead, that country's constitutional republic was conceived, fought for and built almost entirely by deists. While the majority of Americans, then as now, were at least nominally Christian, most of their leaders were not. George Washington, John Hancock, Patrick Henry, Paul Revere and virtually all of their intellectual compatriots were deists. The term is not generally familiar today, but signifies a person who believes in a universal, compassionate Intelligence that made and orders Creation, manifests its will through natural law, but requires no religious dogma to be understood, only the faculty of reason with which every human is endowed.

Referring to the church of his day, Paine wrote, "The Christian theory is little else than the idolatry of the ancient mythologists, accommodated to the purposes of power and revenue... My own mind is my own church." Like his fellow deists, who made a clear distinction between church and state, he was convinced that freedom meant being able to speak one's mind on all subjects, religious as well as political. He did not "condemn those who believe otherwise. They have the same right to their belief as I have to mine."

Nor were the deists anti-Christian. They concluded that Christianity had at its theological core the same mystical truth found in every genuine spiritual conception; namely, the perennial philosophy of compassion for all sentient beings as the means by which the human soul develops. This recognition, however, deeply offended mainstream Christians, who insisted their brand of faith alone was correct, all others being heretical at best or demonic at worst.

As an example of the extremes these defenders of the One True Religion went to demonstrate their piety, hob-nails initialled "T.P." were sold by the thousands to Londoners who could walk all day on the name of Thomas Paine. His treatment in the land he had done so much to free was more harsh. When he walked through the streets of his hometown in Bordentown, New Jersey, doors and window shutters were pointedly banged shut as he passed by, while cries of "Devil!" followed him everywhere.

Modern American Christian crusaders would be even more alarmed to learn that not only was their country founded by deists, but its capitol deliberately designed as a metaphor for Freemasonry. In his profoundly researched book, The Secret Architecture of our Nation's Capital (London: Century Books, Ltd., 1999), author David Ovason offers abundant evidence to show that Washington, D.C. was built by Freemasons who incorporated their arcane, even heretical ideas in the White House, the Washington Monument, the Library of Congress, the Post Office, the Capitol Dome, the Federal Trade Commission Building, the Federal Reserve Building, even Pennsylvania Avenue itself.

But what is, or was, Freemasonry? Like any idea or organisation that persists over time, Freemasonry deviated from its initial purpose until, in the end, it bore only slight, outward resemblance to its origins. By way of comparison with a group alleged without much real foundation to have been Freemasonry's precursor, the Knights Templar was founded in the early 12th century, ostensibly for guarding pilgrim routes to Jerusalem with a few soldiers sworn to poverty and abstinence, but grew to become a virtually autonomous army richly equipped and armed, finally blossoming into an economic entity so potent it called down on itself the murderous envy of a French king.

So too, Freemasonry began in 1717 as a fraternity dedicated to humanitarian, deistic principles for Englishmen unhappy with the royal powers-that-be, and so were forced to operate with discretion. By the time early Americans were ready to part ways with the Mother Country, Freemasonry had spread to their shores and was embraced by many revolutionaries as an expression of opposition to everything British, including the Church of England. The secret order continued to grow in membership and prestige, until it was infiltrated and perverted from its high-minded ideals by Spartacus Weishaupt, a demented power-freak who wanted a respectable vehicle for subversion and insurrection. Separated by a vast ocean from the facts, even Thomas Jefferson was fooled by Weishaupt's duplicity.

Henceforward, the "Free and Accepted Masons" were lumped together with Communists as the secretive enemies of Western Civilisation, and outlawed in most European countries. Even in the United States, though they were never banned, the Freemasons were under suspicion by the Federal Bureau of Investigation for many years, and condemned by several congressmen. Thus criminalised or under suspicion, their popularity went into a long decline, until today their once numerous, now largely abandoned lodge buildings, some still bearing masonic emblems, testify to an aging, dwindling following. It is wrong, therefore, to parallel the Freemason George Washington, for example, with the likes of Adam Weishaupt, anymore than it is to equate George Washington with George Bush.

"The very struggle for independence seems to have been directed by the Masonic brotherhood," Ovason writes, "and, some historians insist, had even been started by them." Indeed, the War for Independence began in a warehouse owned by a Mason, and a majority of the revolutionaries who undertook the Boston Tea Party of 1773 were Masons. The most famous American Mason was George Washington himself, although some biographers not altogether happy with Freemasonry have tried to minimalise his association with it. In fact, however, he was the first Master of the Alexandria, Virginia lodge (Number 22) from April, 1788 until December the following year.

It was this lodge number that was carried before him on a masonic standard, as Washington, leading ranks of fellow Masons all wearing their emblematic aprons, walked in procession to the founding of the American capital, in 1793. The event was commemorated in a pair of bronze panels designed in 1868. They portray him laying the cornerstone surrounded by masonic symbols, including the square and trowel. Washington was still Master Mason when inaugurated as the first President of the United States on 30 April 1789. After his death ten years later, he was laid to rest at his Mount Vernon estate in a masonic funeral, during which all save one of the pallbearers were members of his own lodge.

Ovason observes in a companion volume (The Secret Symbols of the Dollar Bill, CA: HarperCollins, 2004) that Washington's masonic significance was not only expressed in the city to which he gave his name: "The portrait of George Washington, at the centre of the dollar bill, is highly symbolic." The President's image is centrally framed by the last letter in the Greek alphabet, an Omega, for "completion", or the Ultimate, and implying that the foremost Founding Father represented the apogee of human values. His appearance on the one-dollar bill is by no means the only non-Christian symbol found here.

Especially cogent is the illustration of a truncated pyramid surmounted by a radiant delta enclosing a single eye beneath the words Annuit Coeptis. A motto on a scroll near the base reads, Novus Ordo Seclorum. Both were derived from the great Roman writer, Virgil. In his classic epic, the Aeneid, he directs a prayer for assistance to Jupiter, king of the gods: Audacibus annue coeptis, or "Favor our daring undertaking!" Novus Ordo Seclorum, "a New Order for the ages," was taken from one of his famous Ecologues – Magnus ab integro seclorum nascitur ordo, or, "The great series of ages is born anew."

"The idea of a truncated pyramid was Masonic," Ovason writes. It is certainly "pagan," and generally understood to mean stability and virtue in the 18th century. According to President William McKinley, the twenty fifth president of the United States and himself a Mason, it also meant strength and duration. But these obvious characterisations only represent the figure's exoteric aspect. Far less well recognised, the pyramid depicted on the one-dollar bill, unlike any in the Nile Valley, has seventy two stones. This amount is hardly circumstantial, because it has been revered by mystics as one of the most sacred of all numerals.

Since Pythagorean times, in the 7th century BCE, and millennia earlier still in ancient Egypt, 72 has represented the ways of writing and pronouncing the name of the Almighty, not the Christian or even Old Testament Yahweh, but God as represented by the Sun, as it moves through space and time. Ovason explains, "Due to the phenomenon called precession, the Sun appears to fall back against the stars. This rate of precession is one degree every seventy two years." In other words, the dollar bill's seventy two stones signify the deist conception of the Supreme Being as rooted in the pre-Christian, non-Biblical Ancient World.

The single-eyed triangle radiating energy above the truncated pyramid is another Egyptian image, the Utchat, or Udjat, the all-seeing eye of Ra, a sun-god and the divine king of heaven. Esoterically, the Utchat was identified with Maat, the moral law pervading all Creation. Its appearance hovering above the apex of the dollar bill pyramid not only reinforces the solar symbolism of that sacred structure, but embodies the principle of Maat America's Founding Fathers sought to inculcate in the constitutional republic they designed.

But the esoteric, deistic, even "pagan" Freemasonry of America's Founding Fathers is most apparent in the arcane influence that Ovason traces throughout the design and construction of the US capital. These early Americans did not weave this occult symbolism through their country's foremost city for clubbish reasons, but because their iconological signs were the emblems of a new civilisation they wanted to create in the New World.

For New Dawn's 92nd issue, Jason Jeffrey described in "Washington, D.C.: A Masonic Plot?" how the White House is located at the apex of a five-pointed star – the ancient geometric seal of King Solomon, with which he conjured supernatural powers – formed by the intersections of Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Vermont and Connecticut Avenues with K Street NW. But the significance of this urban pentagram is overshadowed by what Ovason has identified as the city's chief orientation to Virgo.

He writes that central Washington, D.C. has twenty public zodiacs, with Virgo prominent in each one. The founding of Federal City, as it was previously known, laying the cornerstones of the President's House, in the wing of the Capitol and the foundation stone of the Washington Monument, all were timed to coincide with the appearance of this astrological figure. Ovason shows that the White House, Capitol building and Washington Monument form a strangely imperfect "Federal Triangle" that only makes sense when we realise it identically resembles a configuration made by the stars – Arcurtus, Spica and Regulus – that bracket Virgo.

On evenings from August 10th to the 15th, as the Sun sets over Pennsylvania Avenue, the Constellation Virgo appears in the sky above the White House and the Federal Triangle. At that same moment, the setting Sun appears precisely above the apex of a stone pyramid in the Old Post Office tower, which is just wide enough to occlude the solar disc. According to the 19th century Freemason, Ross Parsons, "The Assumption of the Virgin Mary is fixed on the 15th of August, because at that time the Sun is so entirely in the constellation of Virgo that the stars of which it is composed are rendered invisible in the bright effulgency of his rays."

Formal ground-breaking ceremonies for the National Archives Building were conducted under Virgo. Two years later, three planets were in Virgo for the official laying of the structure's cornerstone. The Federal Reserve Building is replete with a five-petaled design motif, the symbol of Virgo. The great clock at the Library of Congress is depicted with a comet in Virgo. Because of its centralised location, Ovason believes that "the Library of Congress was sited in this position and its symbolic program established precisely in order to demonstrate the profound arcane knowledge of the Masonic fraternity which designed Washington, D.C. ... the city was surveyed, planned, designed and built largely by Masons." Indeed, no less than twenty one memorial stones with lapidary inscriptions from various masonic lodges line the inside shaft of Washington Monument.

But why would they incorporate so many references to Virgo in their capital? As Ovason points out, the construction of Washington, D.C. "marked one of those rare events in history when a city was planned and built for a specific purpose." He fails to mention, however, that nearly two hundred years before, the first permanent European settlement in North America foreshadowed Virgo's ceremonial centre on the Potomac River.

In 1606, Sir Francis Bacon established Jamestown in Virginia, ostensibly named after Elizabeth, the Virgin Queen. But the emblem he chose, and which survives today as the state seal, is the image of Pallas Athene, Parthenos, the virgin goddess of Greek myth, the divine patroness of civilisation.

Bacon, as Greg Taylor observed in the same issue of New Dawn, prefigured the Freemasons with his vision of a practical utopia based on individual liberty and social responsibility – essentially the same ideals that formed the basis of the US Constitution. When America's Founding Fathers came to compose that document, they perpetuated the identical sacred virginal symbolism initiated at Jamestown.

Repeated symbolism in the architecture, astrological timing and the very lay-out of Washington, D.C. to Virgo-Virgin Athene represent homage to the Eternal Feminine, Goethe's "ewige Weiblicher," which, in his "Faust," leads us onward – "zieht uns hinan." The Freemasons who envisioned and constructed the capital of the United States did so to put their new country in accord with that pure ("virginal") energy they believed to actually exist as the demiurge of Creation. They worshipped that energy, personified in the goddess, a concept that was anathema to the patriarchal Christians of their time (and ours?).

As Ovason concludes, "A city which is laid out in such a way that it is in harmony with the heavens is a city in perpetual prayer." Given so great a distance the present occupants of Washington, D.C. have strayed from the original intentions of its designers, the US capital needs all the prayers it can get!

The Wesak Legend

On Friday evening as the Sun sets, the Moon and Jupiter will rise together and the festival of Wesak begins. This Full Moon with its Sun in Taurus and Scorpio Moon, is a time celebrated around the world as the day of Buddha's birth and enlightenment. It is a time where Buddha, Christ and all the planetary lightworkers gather together high in the Himalayas and transmit a blessing of love to the world. To sit in meditation at this time is to partake of, and contribute to, the abundance of incoming spiritual energies blessing the planet.

This year the Taurus Sun is joined with the planetary messenger, Mercury, creating an energetic combination that enhances the power of thought. The Moon positioned across the zodiac with Jupiter, promotes well-being, kindness and generosity as well as an expansion of ones emotional state. There is also a planetary grand trine occurring between Mars, Uranus and Jupiter in the water signs stimulating psychic sensitivity and a greater desire for peace and escape from turmoil. Neptune, the planetary ruler of dreams and visions, is positioned in a square to the Sun and Moon further emphasizing the need for tranquility and sanctity. For those of you who can take time away from mundane affairs to meditate, journal, walk in nature, envision and dance your prayers this Full Moon is the perfect time. Wherever one is at this Full Moon it will be important to be aware of the thought forms you generate. Thoughts focused on planetary and personal health and harmony are supportive of the Wesak energies, whereas negativity and egotism serve as deleterious.

There is a green valley, high in the foothills of the Himalayan-Tibet ranges. Towering mountains surround the valley on all sides except towards the northeast, where there is a narrow opening in the mountain ranges. The valley is bottle-shaped with the neck of the bottle to the northeast, and it widens considerably towards the south. Up towards the northern end, close to the neck of the bottle, there a huge flat rock. There are no trees or shrubs in the valley, only a kind of coarse grass. At the time of the full moon of Taurus, pilgrims from the surrounding districts begin to gather. The holy men and the lamas find their way into the valley and fill the southern and the middle parts, leaving the northeastern end relatively free. It is there that a group of great wisdom beings who are the Earth's guardians of God's plan gather together. This group of enlightened ones are the main participants in The Wesak Festival. They arrange themselves in the northeastern end of the valley in concentric circles, in front of the rock where a large crystal bowl with water is placed and Christ stands. Gathered throughout the valley are the masters and adepts, and other planetary lightworkers. Some are present in their physical bodies while others are in their spirit bodies.

As the hour of the full moon approaches, stillness settles down upon the crowd, and all look towards the northeast. Certain ritualistic movements take place, in which the grouped Masters and their disciples of all ranks take up symbolic positions, and form on the floor of the valley such significant symbols as the five-pointed star, with The Christ standing at the highest point; of a triangle, with The Christ at the apex; or a cross, and other well known formations, all of which have a deep and potent meaning. This is all done to the sound of chanted words and esoteric phrases.

The expectancy in the waiting, onlooking crowd becomes very great, and the tension is real and increasing. Throughout the valley there can be felt a potent vibration. The chanting and the rhythmic weaving grow stronger, and all the participants and the watching crowd raise their eyes towards the sky in the direction of the narrow part of the valley. Just a few minutes before the exact time of the full moon, in the far distance, a tiny speck can be seen in the sky. It comes nearer and nearer, and grows in clarity until the form of The Buddha can be seen, seated in the cross-legged position, clad in his saffron-colored robe, bathed in light with his hand extended in blessing.

When the Buddha arrives at a point exactly over the great rock, hovering there in the air over the heads of The Great Lords, a great mantram, used only once a year, at The Festival, is intoned by The Christ, and the entire group of people in the valley fall upon their faces. This invocation sets up a great vibration or thought current which is of such potency that it reaches up from the group of aspirants, disciples and initiates who employ it, to the Being we know as God. It marks the supreme moment of intensive spiritual effort throughout the entire year, and the spiritual vitalization of humanity and the spiritual effects last throughout the succeeding months.

The effect of this great Invocation is universal and serves to link us up with that cosmic center of spiritual force from which all created beings have come. The blessing is poured forth, and The Christ, as the representative of humanity, receives it in trust, for distribution. The Buddha transmits renewed spiritual life, through The Christ. Slowly the Buddha recedes into the distance, until again only a faint speck can be seen in the sky, and this eventually disappears. The whole ceremonial blessing, from the time of the first appearance in the distance until the moment The Buddha fades out of view, takes just eight minutes.

When The Buddha has again disappeared, the crowd rise to their feet; the water in the bowl is distributed in tiny portions to the participants, who have all brought their little cups to drink from and share with others. In this ceremony is perpetuated for us the story of the universality of God's love, the need for our individual purification, and the opportunity to share with each other that which belongs to all. The water, which has been magnetized by the presence of The Buddha and of The Christ, carries certain properties and virtues of a healing and helpful nature. Thus blessed, the crowd silently disperses.

Health concerns over mobile phone masts prompt review

'IoS' report on the dangers of electronic smog from wireless technology examined by ministers

Ministers are to investigate arrangements for erecting mobile phone masts in the light of growing fears that they may cause cancer and other diseases because of "electronic smog".

They will review the exceptionally favourable rules that allow mobile phone companies to escape normal planning regulations and stop councils from considering the effects of the masts on health, even when they are sited near homes and schools.

Originally promised three years ago, and then shelved, the review follows articles in The Independent on Sunday about possible effects of the radiation on children and bees. The Government will take account of new scientific and medical evidence, and consult experts and campaigners, as part of a wider review of planning guidelines which ministers send to local authorities.

More than 47,000 "base stations", like masts, have already been erected in Britain to service its 50 million mobile phones, often in defiance of intense local public opposition. Successive governments have made extraordinary concessions to the companies to ensure that coverage was rolled out across the country as quickly as possible.

Masts up to 45ft high do not need planning permission in the normal way. Instead, companies merely have to notify councils of their intentions and can go ahead unless they are formally stopped within 56 days.

Overworked planning authorities struggle to cope with these applications on time, and companies have frequently put up the masts against councils' opposition because news of a refusal has reached them shortly after the deadline.

Seven years ago, an official inquiry - headed by Sir William Stewart, a former government chief scientist - concluded that "the siting of all new base stations should be subject to the normal planning process".

Ministers said that they were "minded" to implement this recommendation, and then failed to do so, even though full planning permission has long been required in Scotland and Northern Ireland.

The inquiry also urged that masts should not be built near schools unless parents agreed, but ministers refused to agree.

The planning rules also make it clear that councils cannot object to masts on health grounds because "the planning system is not the place for determining health safeguards". Yet studies are revealing worrying levels of symptoms such as headaches, fatigue, nausea, dizziness, difficulties in sleeping and concentrating, and learning and memory problems in people living near the masts - and there is also some suggestion that there may be an increase in cancers and heart disease.

Nevertheless, councils are instructed by the rules to "respond positively" to the phone companies' plans and, in practice, can reject a mast only on aesthetic grounds. The Deputy Prime Minister, John Prescott, promised a review by the end of 2004. It never took place, but last week the Department for Communities and Local Government confirmed that the advice to local authorities is to be re-examined.

A spokesman for the department said: "We are examining developments in research on this issue. It is something that is going to be looked at."

Parents fight Wi-Fi at primary school

Parents have been battling plans to install a Wi-Fi only system in their children's school in north London for the past two years. They are worried that the health implications of Wi-Fi have not been fully researched and radioactivity created by the technology could harm the children at Tetherdown Primary School. They argue it is better and cheaper to install cables with local Wi-Fi connectors.

Rani Jowett, 35, who has three children at the school, said: "It's taking a risk with our children because it's still under study. People in the 1950s took a risk with smoking, but we have the power to stop this. In my own home I have a choice over Wi-Fi, but I don't have the choice in school."

Governors, however, claim that a wired infrastructure would be too expensive. A spokesman for Haringey council said: "Safety standards for this sort of equipment are set nationally and we follow government guidelines."

It must be stated at the outset of this article that the expectation in 2012 of any singular event could very well lead to complete disappointment. None of us know for certain what will happen in the years to come, especially the specific date of 12-21-2012, as the future is yet to occur. I try to approach this great mystery of 2012 with an open yet discriminating mind, open to possible scenarios yet discriminating and requiring evidence. That being said, it is obvious that right now is a time of radical transformation, and society is subconsciously gearing up for a "Shift of the Ages," a moment when the Zeitgeist, the spirit of our time, shifts to a higher pattern. Many are coming forward to proclaim "The End of the World," and they point to the Maya themselves as stating the end is coming. But the fact remains that the Maya encoded the ending of one 13baktun calendar cycle and a new beginning, what they called "Creation Day." This is not the "End of the World" being solicited in the main stream media, a guarantee that doom, tumultuous changes, and a turmoil ridden future lies ahead; they are using the tried and true application of fear to make money, and it is very reasonable that this fear is in place, for events could be very dire, yet we have to approach this moment in history with the poise and watchfulness of the spiritual warrior.

Although mankind has traversed the evolutionary gap between the savage rain forest and the modern civilized city, it now sits in a very alarming situation; it now faces a bifurcation point in the evolutionary path it has trod thus far. This unavoidable fork in the road will lead us either down the path of destruction and decimation, or we will be impelled down the evolutionary channels toward enlightenment and liberation, freeing ourselves from the entropic grip of materiality and the thralldom of our everyday world. This is a very novel predicament for humanity, one it has never seen before, a moment a planet brings forth only once in its' lifetime. This razor's edge that we are teetering on is fast becoming a slippery slope, and the global operational systems are careening out of control. On the one hand, we have reached a monumental moment in which all indicators point to the fact that we are approaching a quantum leap in our evolutionary trek, a rapturous instant in which our species' evolution shifts to a higher, unimaginable level of functionality; however, on the other hand, the global situation looks very grim, and certain actualities could create a situation where our existential being is subjected to harsh realities, realities that are the consequence of what we started long ago in history. This situation is building up more and more pressure and is working its' way toward a breaking point. Because of humanity's selfish and disharmonious behavior, we have created a situation that looks fairly dire and dreadful for our species, yet the contradictory is also true; never before has the human race been so perfectly poised so as to initiate a whole series of evolutionary steps that could precede a Utopian civilization.


Mankind has never found himself at a crossroads of such magnitude, a bifurcation point that will change the course of history. Nevertheless, that is no excuse for a botched job in the grave matter at hand; it is crucial to our survival that we get it right! That sounds like a paramount amount of pressure and will require an impeccable discipline; indeed, this is intense pressure, and this rite of passage requires utilizing a higher more disciplined order for quelling the more primitive behaviors that will only guarantee our demise. An immense amount of cooperation and compassion is required to get us passed the inhospitable situation before us. It is vital that we quickly get a clue and start doing what we know we need to do, yesterday and not tomorrow, before our tenuous grip on reality quickly slips away, and we tumble erroneously down the path of failed attempts. No, this will not do! If we really want to make it through this perilous passageway in the hallway of history, then we need to quickly wake up, come to our senses, and merge our scientific world view and knowhow with a true ecumenical spiritual paradigm founded upon ethics, thereby placing well meaning attention and focus on the problems at hand. A merging of these two worlds could help create the impetus for us to form a true global community where the "Good of the All" is sought out for the "Good of the All" by all our individual talents.

Modern man throughout the twentieth century was coming to terms with his theological and scientific paradigms, and in the last decade of that century s/he saw an intensification of the integration of these two worlds; the true philosopher's stone, the stone of the wise, was condensing from the merging of these two paradigmatic systems. This new paradigm of thought was synthesized in a dialectical process where the thesis and antithesis were merged, the worlds of theology and science, and it is now informing the morphogenetic fields that rule social behavior all over our planet. These fields order our behavior through the process of morphic resonance, whereby our thoughts and emotions are in sync with the planetary mind, and our mind then follows suit. These global morphogenetic fields of humanity have been called many names: the collective unconscious, the genetic archives, the akashic records, and the phylogenetic unconscious. At any rate, this morphogenetic field that humanity resonates with is a sphere of thought surrounding the planet, and the synergistic tendencies of the information couplings within those fields are gearing up for and catalyzing a transformational shift to a whole new order of being. In the notions of the French priest and paleontologist, Pierre Teilhard de Chardin, the biosphere, nature, will give rise to and exude the noosphere, a global layer of thought, the informational synergy of which will actualize the Omega Point into being. This will usher in a new paradigm, a transcendence for all of humanity. It is interesting to note that Teilhard came to his realizations long before the global network of the Internet; therefore, many philosophers consider the internet to be the hardwiring of the noosphere.

The unrelenting questions of what will happen consistently assail the mind. Will we make it through the turmoil to see ourselves basking in the sunlight of enlightenment? Or will we destroy ourselves in some apparent need for defense or through retaliation? Will the Biosphere continue supporting our species when it is being decimated daily? Will we experience some major geological changes as a consequence of our relationship with the sun? Will our technology birth the next level of our evolution? Will the Gaian Mind, which appears to be the source of crop circles, bring us a further revelation of our place in the cosmos? Can a multitude of these events occur? This intense inquisitiveness will not be abated within me, and sadly, I'm afraid that the answers that have presented themselves are both appealing and disturbing, creating further vexing enigmas. So, what we are facing is manifold and many-sided; one singular event does not take the whole happening into consideration. Does this time of devastation and/or enlightenment have anything to do with 2012 as many have foretold?

What we are facing is both good and bad, in my opinion; one model of our future does not contain the entirety of that happenstance. It is multifaceted and diverse, but our mammalian brain seeks to create black and white scenarios out of the mysteries before us, seeking to simplify the unknown and fearful into nice little models of what we are moving into. But there is no way that what we are facing could be all black or all white; it is indeed both. The concrescence of novelty, the eschaton, will be an infinitely novel situation and contain both the good and the bad! As the universe becomes more complex and ramified, as more novelty accrues, then we can expect the intensity of those novel forms and events to increase; the novelty of both the black and the white will intensify in its' influence upon our lives. Therefore, it is understandable that the most horrid will occur alongside of the most divine in our shared, global future.

So, what kind of things could we be facing in 2012 or beyond? What are the tenable possibilities on our global horizon? Let's first look at the negative occurrences facing our global civilization, and then we will discuss the positive effects which also appear to be breaking through into our society. These doom ridden scenarios are things that, if they were to occur, would affect our global future and life as we know it in a radical way. These possibilities are things we definitely need to be considering as we move ahead.

Humanity is in a very precarious situation; never before have so many mounting crisis points been converging together. I'm no doomsayer, but if you remove yourself from the group mind with its aversion to the facts at hand, and you take a good look at what is about to transpire, then you can't help but be white-knuckled and fearful of the future. But this fear is not at all what we need, if reality is truly affected by our minds as scientific studies are beginning to bear out. The following situations "Could" transpire in the years to decades ahead; they are not necessarily slated to occur in 2012!

The increased complexity and convoluted nature of our global civilization has made the threat of a pandemic a much more conceivable situation. A virus could be transferred to many areas of the world through our transportation grid in a very short period of time, and an all out pandemic could be actualized in a matter of weeks. When asked about a near future, foreseeable pandemic, doctors say it's a matter of "when" not "if" one breaks out. In the last 30 years we saw the introduction of many new biological threats: AIDS, SARS, West Nile, and now the Avian Flu, and these are threats that we must take seriously. When will this speculative disaster occur? It is uncertain, but scientists are very concerned about the possibility of a major unstoppable pandemic in the near future.

A pandemic is just one possibility on the shelf of global, future threats. In addition, we have the Geo-Political environment, a motley crew of a makeup with each component striving for dominance on the world stage. It is one thing to agree to disagree with the other parties in the global arena; however, we now have radical terrorists, self proclaimed servants of God, who believe it is their God given duty to kill all those that will not convert to their way of thinking. It is hard to deal with these people in a rational manner, as their behavior elicits the very primitive instinct of seeking their utter destruction. In addition, we now have the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and they are now in the hands of some very fanatical and tyrannical leaders. It is easy to foresee and imagine that if the terrorists ignited a nuclear bomb in one of our cities due to their ideological insanity, then the civilized world could very easily retaliate, thereby sparking a nuclear tit-for-tat of all the countries involved. This is a very real possibility and something that MUST be avoided at all costs. Does that mean we should not retaliate if we were ever to be attacked with a nuclear bomb? Well, I am a warrior, and anyone trying to kill me, my family, my friends, or any of the citizens of my country should be very aware that there are many of us who will stand up and seek to destroy them utterly. But that being said, we need to be exceedingly careful not to spark a nuclear catastrophe, if that were to ever happen. Therefore, our retaliatory nature could pose a big problem as we move ahead, as we now live in a world where radical mentalities and terrorism exist.

Our global society is also facing major economic collapse as we move forward into subsequent periods of time. Our economic markets are so reliant on what occurs globally now, and the countries of the world have created such a deficit that some financial specialists say what we are facing is insurmountable; we are operating on borrowed time, and a huge spiral into economic collapse looks like an extremely conceivable scenario.

If those realistic threats weren't bad enough, the biosphere is being destroyed in so many aspects that it is barely possible to imagine. Researchers believe that the biosphere may become completely uninhabitable in just a couple centuries. The facts of man's destruction of the habitat that brought him forth are truly appalling and ghastly. We are decimating the rain forest by miles daily, the main source of the oxygen we breathe. Climate is changing as both the jet stream in the atmosphere and the gulf stream in the Atlantic are shifting. Our oceans are dying from pollution and over fishing, and many species are being wiped into extinction. Is this insanity? What are we doing to ourselves? The planet was never intended to support life for 6.5 billion people, and that population is only increasing daily. The facts of the matter make one wince when looking at all the details, creating a nauseating feeling in the pit of the stomach. The melting of the ice caps is occurring from a multitude of sources that are causing Global Warming. It is not just our fuel use causing global warming; it also has to do with natural cycles that revolve around the earth-sun connection. The melted ice will cause the sea levels to rise, obliterating the coastline and inundating us with water. This biosphere issue is definitely not something that will cause a global catastrophe in 2012, but it is an indication of where we find ourselves and the nature of our shared predicament. The operative word is "Shared," and we need to realize that all of us on the planet are in this boat together, and it has now begun to traverse the rapids and dangerous currents ahead.

Additionally, we have the sun-earth connection to be concerned about. The Sun's Coronal magnetic flux has increased 100% in the last century. Global Warming is partly caused by man and is also caused by the earth's relationship with the sun, and scientists say the sun has steadily become more active in the past several hundred years. It must be understood that when a Solar Flare or Coronal Mass Ejection occurs a wave of energy moves out in all directions, and when it impinges with a planet's magnetic field, the field contorts in reaction. This contortion shifts the Jet Stream creating climate change, and it also puts stress on the system of plate tectonics, causing an increased number of earthquakes and volcanoes. The last sunspot cycle ended with the two largest flares on record and the next major cycle is scheduled for 2012.

Now that we have discussed some of the sobering bad news about our future, and because I like to be the optimist even in the most drastic and horrid of situations, I think it is essential to relay the whole picture. Yes, things look very dire, but they also look most promising. Strides in science, medicine, government and technology are making major advances in ridding our species of the undesired effects of bad health, famine, poverty, or lack of any name. So, like I said, what we are moving into is both wonderful and horrid. It is a double-edged sword!

Science is making great progress, and a G.U.T., A Grand Unified Theory or a T.O.E., a Theory Of Everything, is within the grasp of humanity, giving us a true understanding of Space-Time and harnessing that understanding for benevolent and beneficial technologies, which we will use to find solutions to our present predicaments. A quantum leap in our evolution is apparently directly in front of us, if you consider the exponential explosion of technology. A technological singularity is going to occur; it cannot be avoided. Only one of the previously mentioned catastrophes could remove us from the course with the Technological Singularity. This Singularity will bring us technologies that will give us immense longevity and possible immortality! That was a fairly welcome surprise as we entered a new millennium, discovering we were facing this event. The exponential explosion of technology will remove many of the problems we have dealt with for thousands of years. For instance, nanotechnology will be used to control cholesterol and plaque within our arteries, thereby alleviating one of the major causes of death. The A.I. mind will know all our problems, and it will use intelligence a million times greater than man to find solutions and implement them in the moment.

Researchers are learning how much our mind is inextricably linked to the physical reality surrounding us, and with the advent of nanotechnology we will be able to create materially whatever we are visualizing mentally. Our science and spirituality are also no longer exclusive to each other, and the age old conflicts between the facts of science and our theological perspectives are dissolving and fading away. Our scientific investigations are showing us that the quantum vacuum, the zero-point-field, contains the informational blueprint for the way our reality forms itself. It is the reservoir for every occurrence that has ever happened in previous universes, universes that are iterations of the one multiverse; The zero-point-field is a non-local vacuum containing zero matter or energy but immense information that our universe uses as a guide to shape itself. This zero-point-field can be considered the mind of God, and now even most atheistic scientists realize that there is a higher dimensional information template from which our universe is formed. Also, our world's religions are beginning to loosen the constricting belt of literalism, and they are seeing the truths of both science and other faiths; a convergence between disparities is taking place, and integration is occurring on many levels.

So, we live in a time full of radical changes of both a qualitatively good and bad nature. The ancient seers knew that this exact period in time represented a period of catastrophic changes preceding a golden age. Most cultural traditions have some intimation of the times we are living in, whether it is Hindu, Hopi, Mayan, or many, many others, and they are all in basic agreement that a great purging, a cataclysmic time of change, will precede a golden age of enlightenment.
