A lot of the shaman and indigenous tribes such as the Kalahari bushmen have practice that brings on shaking and bouncing to release negative spirits and become spritually awakened through direct encounters with spirit and gods. There are differences though between deliberately shaking as opposed to having the shaking happen as a result of the practice method.
