I always wondered how quickly kratom are able to digest. Someone told me it takes a few minutes, but when I consume the substance it takes about half an hr. for me to getthe effect.
Usually, I put two gel capsules in a hot cup of water to see how long it would take for them to dissolve.It took 2-4 mins, as I stirred the cup to speed the process. If I only take gel kratom, usually I don’t getthe effect until 15 min after it digest. In the morning on an empty stomach with nothing but water, the effects take as long as 20-60mins to kick it in.

I usually take the capsule with water. My trick is to take the capsule with the mouthful of water, tilt from side to side for a while, then swallow the residue.

They dissolve, and you do not need to roll them around. People are convinced of the most odd things. If they were aware of the power stomach acid have over saliva, they wouldn’t insist on doing that.
I could never take capsules with soda. To take them I have consumed with thick liquids. Something like OJ or grapefruit juice if you’re concerned with your health, and energy drinks if you’re not. When consuming them with water or Pepsi, you will get that feeling like the capsule is stuck in your throat and won’t go down.
Usually I’ll take 8 grams of capsules, which is 14-16 kratom in total. I densethem stop at my throat, unable to make it to my stomach and easily digest.
The kratom goes down easily, and you don’t get that bad effect Dissolving with citric acid or acid like drinks usually make it kick in quicker.
However, I like the slow effect. Personally, I rather to have a gradual effect than a one time hot burn.
